Did you hear that Viz Media just picked up RWBY. It may come back soon now that it's no longer sitting in limbo.

I know this is a few years late but I'd like to bring up a point from that same interview you quoted about why Vi falls for Caitlyn. Amanda talks about how Vi has had to fight her whole life and everyone around Vi has been forced to fight, but Vi meets Caitlyn, someone who has everything and can turn away if she wants, and Caitlyn chooses to fight for Vi and the undercity. I don't know but that idea actually really hit me because Vi is seeing someone choose to fight for her, for her people, without being pushed into it and at many points is actively being pushed away from doing so. It's just an interesting idea that adds a layer to their relationship.

The bloodied coin somehow stuck with me long after I finished the show. And it served to humanize Marcus who is otherwise a very unlikable and even forgettable character.

I'm watching this because we now know RWBY will in fact be continuing through VIZ Media! Volume 10 girlfriends Bees confirmed! 😭🎉

Proper attention was paid to proper fighting form. Vi looks like the real deal and her boxing style is consistent throughout. And good fun was had with locations: bridges, platforms, and in the bar against, between, and through (!) walls. Set design win! There are lots of rematches in the season and they show progression. Vi fights Sevika twice. Vander and Silco happens twice (incl flashback). Ekko and Jinx happens 3 times.

CHOOSING to be a cop? Not oil. Less than dirt 🤭 and it mixes fine with water. Makes mud. Pigs love mud.

Personally when I watched it the first time, It reminded me awfully a lot how the m9 felt around Avantika, expect the relationship was even more tenser and more anxiety inducing lmao Also cannot forget all of the freaky ass Aeor experiments too like the giant baby 🙏

And if they could squeeze in super-gluing the dick to that girl’s hand, it’s wins all around. I’d love to see their adventure through the Happy Fun Ball. So much happened in there, plus getting chased by the anti-mage constructs. Super fun. Also, just lampshade how “sprinkle should be dead”

I mean this with no exaggeration, this show is an absolute masterpiece and imo one of the best pieces of fiction in the last decade, and up there as my favorite ever along side Spider Verse. I am lost for words as to how incredible this show is and what Riot did is nothing short of legendary and historical. The animation is drop dead gorgeous and revolutionary, the writing and story is superb and carry so much weight and emotion, the music is impeccable, the performances and voice acting is amazing, the sound effects are stellar and I can go on and on. Truly a remarkable piece of fiction that deserves every ounce or success they have received and continue to receive. I can seriously go on and on with this show. Although I am not emotionally ready for season 2, I hope it’s just as perfect if not more so than season 1. Riot truly did something special as Arcane really is something legendary. There is nothing like Arcane. This show is unbelievably special and will always hold a special place in my heart. It is peak. Chefs kiss😘🎊

It’s a testament to the quality of Arcane when Imagine Dragons’ addition is the worse part. Hell Arcane is so good that it makes LoL, the source of the adaptation, look like the shitty game tie-in

I loved seeing Isabela because finally a princess looking character who is also a character of color which rarely if ever happens. Typically to be more “realistic” or “culturally accurate” we don’t get princess characters with princess dresses when they’re not white. It’s just nice to finally get that without relying on some remake or something.
